“HE IS RISEN”
These are the words that would have resonated among His Apostles and close followers on that first Resurrection day.
He has done the impossible. Nothing can hold Him down. Nothing can defeat Him.
Through Baptism we are joined to Jesus and rise to new life with Him meaning that nothing can separate us from God Himself.
Accepting this personally is the key to our faith. We can be taught it as children but at some point we must say, “I believe in the resurrection for me.” In other words I believe in God for myself.
Pope Benedict said that a person must have an “encounter with Christ.”
Pope Francis theme for this Lent was taken from James 5:8 “Set Your Hearts Firm.” As we conclude this Lenten journey with the celebration of the Resurrection may you remain strong in the prayers and commitments that you have made these past few weeks.
ACTION: Determine to live in victory from today in attitudes, language and speech.

May I thank you for walking this journey with me whether through Lent or through Holy Week. Rosemary and I have been so blessed by your prayers, emails and comments over these past few weeks.
Rosemary and I would also like take this opportunity to thank some members of our team. I just had to sit in front of the camera but in particular Julian, Scott and Sandra worked constantly to make it happen. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this Lenten journey. Having the reflections and bible readings to listen to and read each morning have been so supportive as well as faith filling. It has made for me a new and richer way of walking through Lent that has been filled with challenges and blessings.

Thank you for inspiring me to do something different for my 4-year old great-granddaughter for Easter – I wrote her a story about the first Easter – putting it in what I believe is the language of her age – adding, at the end, the correlation between New Life in Jesus, new life from an egg and why the Easter Bunny delivers the eggs. Hopefully, and prayerfully, she will keep this little book and will be able to read it herself in a year or so. The journey you have taken us on over this period of time has been a highlight of my day. Thank you.
