Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week.
If I was honest it was about this time during Lent when I was younger that I started to get excited that it was coming to an end and I could go back to lollies, sugar or whatever I had given up for Lent. (Ok that’s how I still feel now.)
As Jesus came into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday, it says in Luke’s Gospel that He stopped and wept over the city. He realised that many people in Israel had not recognised Him.
That while many had been present during His ministry through His preaching and miracles they still did not see Him for who He truly was.
It is so easy at times to attend Church, do good things and be kind to our neighbour and yet fail to see Jesus in our daily life.
ACTION: This week as we travel through Holy Week ask God to draw you to Him more deeply. There is so much more of God than we can comprehend and yet He is wanting to be part of our daily lives.

I enjoyed the words of the video, however, the picture itself was quite scrambled.
But the message was very good.
I have been arriving an hour early before Daily Mass and Saturday 5pm Mass. It gives me such a spiritual time with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Sometimes I start my Rosary (it sometimes takes me over a hour to say my Rosary because I talk to the Blessed Mother or I think about the mysteries – did you know the Rosary is the most complete prayer there is? You pray to the Trinity, you pray the prayer the Lord gave us – the Our Father, there of course is our Hail Mary and the Fatama Prayer – then there are the prayers before and after the Rosary. I also say a Marian Litany. May sound like a lot but if Mary is on your mind, you can’t get enough!). I have so enjoyed your Lenten series. I will be so sad when it is over. Lent is my favorite season in the Church. A chance to improve ones spiritual life and a chance to love JESUS all the more.

To say I love God and not recognize Jesus in others, especially those who have wounded me is a mockery. So sometimes it is easier to forget .when I am hurting that we are all THE Body Of CHRIST. Each time I receive the Lord in Holy Communion I am reminded as I say out loud YES to who I am The word AMEN means that ..yes.We are so fortunate to have so many resources available that are all a help for each of us to get into the culture of the time Jesus was walking the earth and begin to feel the frustrations, rejections and fears that our Lord experienced. A challenge for each of us would be to take the place John took….close to the heart of Jesus. AMEN

I am truly thankful to God and to you Bruce for today’s reflection, this being the first day of Holy Week. My day today has been one of discovering the Lord deeply close to me as I drew closer to Him through His Word, listening to spiritual songs and in contemplation. Vigil Mass celebrating Palm Sunday last night, was memorable also. Yes there is so much more of God than we can comprehend and He has been confirming to me throughout the day and in your reflection that the Lord does want to be part of our daily lives. Jesus truly is my constant Companion.

It is very true that u can do all the good things and try to be holy but still will not find God in ur life. Do u believe that u can be in a crowd and still feel lonely, and that there can be water everywhere and not a drop to drink.
The fact that we cannot find God in our lives results from all our weaknesses including doubts. Let us not be like Thomas who wanted to see his hands and feet to believe. Thomas had all it takes believe without seeing but he chosed to doubt the story of the resurrection and so could not fine God in his life.
